After cruising through the Redwoods in a convertible I really can’t recommend any other way of experiencing them…except on foot of course. You’ll never feel so small.
My camera never tires of her beautiful face. I love these three as a triptych. The dark evening light is challenging to photograph in, I finally began to manually focus since my 5D wouldn’t auto focus in this light. I like the mood! What do you think? Too dark for your taste?

I started my obsession with the sea when I was around 12. I wanted to live in So. Cal, {thanks to my Escondido family} wear Roxy and become a surfer chic. Since I lived out my teenage years in Reno, NV instead I painted a wave on my wall to suffice. I don’t get to visit as often as I’d like. So when I go I soak up as much of the salty air, waves, and sunsets as I can!
